This workshop is an invitation for you to RAID my bead stash and have fun making jewellery with my handmade glass beads.
Every bead has been formed in an oxygen-propane flame - they are all individuals!
As you might imagine, after over 30 years of hand making glass beads, I have a ridiculously large collection! I need you help to reduce this.
No bead over $10 - I will bring a broad selection of beads for you to select from.
You will only pay for what you use. ALL sterling silver findings and beads will be priced for you so that you can select your requirements within your own budget on the day
You will be provided with findings (the nuts and bolts of how jewellery is put together, such as jump rings, clasps, wires, earwires, crimps, etcetera. You will only pay for the materials and beads you choose.
Time allocation: 3 hours
Kit / Workshop Materials Inclusions:
- Use of tools such as pliers etcetera.
- Any threading materials, be they cord, wires, leather, etcetera.
- Use of bead design boards.
- NB: Findings and beads will NOT be included in the price of the workshop.
Pre-requisite skills: Nil
You may wish to bring a note book and pencil for taking your own notes. If you have jewellery making tools, it would be appreciated if you can bring those along to share with the group. If not, there will be tools available.
